Baby's Bedtime Routine
It is no secret that a consistent routine can make for a more pleasant bedtime for the whole family. It is especially useful early on when you are trying to help your baby differentiate day and night. As a teacher of young children, I know from experience that children are typically creatures of habit and often thrive off cues and routines. Early on dressing the baby, bathing her - all that stuff - had my heart racing and me in a full on sweat, as she screamed at the top of h

Who Am I?
When I first had Mary Clare I was constantly wondering, “when will I feel like myself again?” At first, it feels like you’ll never do the things you did before, ever again. So I spent some time making a list of our favorite recipes plus I researched a ton of new recipes to try. Rob and I loooove most kinds of Asian food. Chinese, Japanese, Thai, even Laotian -

A Heart Full of Grace
Last night was the Super Bowl. I'm a long suffering New York Jets fan, so as you can imagine I was not sure who I was rooting for. It was a really exciting game, very fun to watch. Despite their rep for having wild fans, I am a sucker for the underdog...so big congrats Philly! I was planning a different post for today but after last night, I was called to write this. In addition to the exciting football, I was thoroughly entertained by the halftime show. A lot of criticism fo

WELCOME TO MAMACOASTER
Motherhood is as hard as it is beautiful. The vision is for this to be a space where moms relate to one another, laugh together and share the experience of motherhood. Let's support one another on this wild ride.
