WELCOME

Mamacoaster began to take shape after the birth of my daughter, Mary Clare. I struggled to adjust to my new life as a mama and found great solace in other blogs written by likeminded moms. As a on-hiatus-educator, I felt the need to do something other than just be mommy. Writing about my experience as a new mother is cathartic. I realized that perhaps sharing my experience might help others just as those other mommy bloggers helped me.
I hope to develop a community of moms who relate to one another, laugh together and even have a good cry. Let's support one another through this crazy rollercoaster ride that is motherhood.
